Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Trurl Sebastian Opałczyński, ul. Malinowa 9/2, 05-505 Gabryelin, Polish tax ID (NIP) 812 187 73 38 (“I”, “me”). Contact for data matters: info@opalczynski.com.

What data I collect

• E-mail and the enquiry form — name, e-mail address, message and whatever you choose to add: city, rough timing, budget, photos of your interior.
• Server logs — IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type. Recorded automatically by the server, for security and diagnostics only.
• Analytics and cookies — the site currently uses no analytics tools and no cookies. If that changes, I will update this document.

Purpose and legal basis

• Answering your enquiry and preparing a quote — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract).
• Fulfilling an order — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Accounting and tax obligations — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
• Site security and establishing or defending legal claims — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

How long I keep data

• Correspondence that doesn't lead to an order — up to 12 months after our last contact.
• Order-related data — for the duration of the order, then until claims and tax obligations expire (usually 5 years from the end of the tax year).
• Server logs — up to 30 days.

Who receives the data

I don't sell data or share it for marketing. Access is limited to the service providers the site and e-mail can't work without: server hosting, the e-mail provider (Proton AG, Switzerland — a country the European Commission recognises as providing adequate data protection) and my accountant (for orders). The enquiry form runs on my own server: the message is sent straight to my mailbox and is not stored on the server. It is protected from spam by Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., USA — a participant in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework): on pages with the form, Cloudflare checks the IP address and technical browser signals to tell people from bots. Cloudflare does not receive the message itself. Fonts and all other site assets are served from my own server — no third-party CDN.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object. Just write to info@opalczynski.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

Providing data is voluntary, but without an e-mail address I can't reply to your enquiry. I make no automated decisions and do no profiling.
